Unknown Armband
Hi folks
Any ideas on this armband, took a punt on it, might of course not be military. It was the word "Watchman" that I was curious about, I take it the word pre dates the more common "security guard" The only military connection with the word I can think of is the ranks of the MSO, GSO and GSU. I'm probably stretching the link a bit but would like your views. Regards Sean |

Hi Sean
For some reason it makes me think American, what is the back like, how would it be secured/adjusted when worn? Graham

Thank you for the photo Sean, if I was to put money on it I'd say it was American, probably US Navy and possibly used by civilian employees at one of their overseas naval bases. I've nothing really to base that on, just a feeling.
All the best Graham
