Liverpool Scottish?
I would be grateful to hear members ideas on this badge which I recently acquired. I have never seen it before but I imagine it must be Liverpool Scottish but not the one we all know. It is well cast in white metal and identical in size to Kings L'pool cap badge (not beret badge). All info welcomed!

Many thanks for your replies KLR, Mike and Peter. I should have thought of collars but do not own Churchills book. Anyway, mystery solved now.
