13th /18th hussars
Hi, I'm trying to find out if the 13th /18th Hussars 'Z' shape cap badge made by Firmin with the raised maker mark to the reverse is of WW2 period, any information will be much appreciated,

The design was introduced circa 1938 and was worn well into the 1950s and possibly earlier '60s.

Thanks Alan, what I'm trying to ascertain is whether the version of the badge with that style of maker mark precludes it from being WW2 era, eg did Firmin only start marking their 13th /18th badges post war? I hope that makes sense, cheers
