RAOC Badge

I'm not saying that its bad but its not one i would keep as the only RAOC badge of that era (49-53) that i have seen on lugs is in guilt and the lugs are long in more of an oval shape (those on your badge appear to be round). Some of the other RAOC collectors may be in a better position to tell as although i have a good collection of RAOC i have very few on lugs. Regards Steve |

RAOC Lugs
I have one of these. I believe it to be, at the very least, a legitimate or's cap badge variant, possibly something else. The lugs I believe are a red herring - several corps' badges of this period are found with lugs as a variation. I won't be getting rid of mine in a hurry - an interesting badge worthy of further research. Mike
