Default A Brief History of The Shropshire Army Cadet Force

Like many other undergoing Corona Virus Lockdown, I'm discovering items that I'd forgotten that I own. I thought this may be of interest to some forum members - I acquired this interesting book some time since. Published for the Army Cadet Force Centenary Celebrations on 24th March 1960 "A Brief History Of The Shropshire Army Cadet Force" contains much information relating to the lineage of the OTC/CCF and ACF in The County of Shropshire. Hopefully the attached photographs give a flavour of the book. If anyone wants copies just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Did other counties produce anything similar ? If so I would love to see examples from Yorkshire and Lincolnshire in particular but any others would be of interest
Enjoy !

Marvellous, I think I can see the hand of Geoff Archer Parfitt who was the curator of the Shropshire Military Museum at one time and who I think was responsible for the excellent collection of Shropshire Cadet material that was ( and may still be ) on display in the Museum.

Again, many thanks Peter, also thanks for the heads up on the Shropshire Cadet material on display in the regimental museum, once "lockdown" is over I'll have to take a trip to have a look at that display.

Regards

Paul
