Who knows which capbadge manufacturer stamped "made in england" ?? Here on the reverse of a post war French Commando badge...
Is there other examples of such marking on british badges ??

On British badges it is thought this might be a fake mark. 'England' on its own is thought to be fake. Regards, Paul.

Hi Paul,
This French commando badge is supposed to have been made for the film "the longest day" in the 60', so long time after ww2 ... I wonder who did it ?? Gaunt ??
