Nice - are you going to add plaques to the frames with names, service details?
Not that they're needed - looks good.

Hi Leigh
I was thinking of putting something on the back to say who the badges represent.
Hmmm, you have me thinking now, a brass plaque of sorts might be good, I'll look into it.
Cheers Leigh. Hope all is well

All fine here - ok with you?
One of the threads on here a day or two ago showed a link to plaques available on evilbay, got me considering a few.

Are you going to show the RSDG badges with the rubbed down eagle breasts or go for pristine?

Glad all is ok, all good here cheers.
Scots DG bi metal is going to be pristine.
I'm going to mount my own badges and medals, I may mount dad's with them also, both of us had buffed down Scots DG cap badges, shame, such nice badges when They're not rubbed down, but you had to, it was compulsory!
I'll look up the thread for the plaques, cheers for that.

Chris

The thread that mentions the plaques (great displays of badges there too).

Greetings Chris.
Best I can discover is he enlisted into 8th Battalion, Essex Regiment as an 18 year old on 24.4.18, transferred to Army Reserve 12.12.19, later joined 3rd Dragoon Guards, date unknown and left The UK 17.1.21, arriving at Sialkot on 5.2.21.

He was in B Squadron and I believe based at Edward Barracks, Sialkot.

You never now, they may well have served together.

Regards.

Brian
