Default 9th Royal Tank Regiment Arm Badges

Does anyone know what these chaps sell for nowadays? I’ve just acquired a nice lot of badges, insignia and other bits to a chap who served in 9th RTR during WW2. Some really nice bits and pieces (I have his dog tags too so can identify the original owner). There is one for sale at n Wharton Militaria’s website for £550 but that seems a little optimistic...

Thanks in advance

Paul

Paul,

I sold one on Ebay a few months ago. I got £102.00 for it.
The loops had been removed, which I understand is not unusual for these arm badges as they were then sewn on.

regards

Paul,

The removal of loops was a 'thing' rather than a damaged badge so I am not sure how it effects the value.

Yours look nice for sure. If in doubt stick one on ebay and it will find its value.

regards

Good looking badges...
Still got the one i posted, which is an early one i believe ( piece of French? felt material between badge and backing plate)
Google it to see what others are about occasionally, have seen them with holes in?.....was that done for sewing purposes?
I saw a silver one on EBAY, seller tried to get, £400+ for it, if i remember correctly.....don't think it sold!
