Brecknockshire Rgt.
Hi, acquired recently, though this badge is cast and has a pin fastener seen on sweethearts it looks to have really good detailed finish to front of badge!
Affiliated to the South Wales Borders, other than this I know nothing on it? Can someone fill me in regards the manufacture of this being how it was done or not? Also acquired the Shoulder Title and what I think might be the Collars though not quite matching! The badge is really quite heavy! Many thanks Billy |

... I like that Billy. Its possibly missing a chain safety loop that was fixed in the middle? I have a DHY thats identical in manufacture... that I think is Egyptian made.

Hi Billy,
They were sent out to India to replace regular battalions during the 1st World War so quite possibly a theatre made replacement. I have something similar in my collection. Hwyl, Kevin |

..... Egyptian/Indian made for a Wife/Sweetheart badge or even a spare field badge. But its just a guestimate.
