Default RAF associated blazer badges

Hi all,

Although not everyone's cup of tea I have included images of more unusual RAF associated blazer badges I have in my collection (apart from the Japan one).

My main reason for posting this is regarding the RAF Dance Band (Kumbronians) badge. I cannot find anything on the Internet concerning them and wondered if any member can shed any light on them.

Having a KC and being sourced from France I wonder if it could be WWII associated. It 'feels' genuine to me.

Any suggestions are very welcome.

Regards,

Graham

Graham

Maybe way off the mark here but to my eyes the item shown on the badge below the musical notes looks like a stylized Kris style dagger or sword, perhaps there is a Malaya connection to the item.

I don't think that is a stylised Kris, it looks more like a ceremonial trumpet with a banner hanging from it.
