Thank you so much for this; I’ve had it lying around for an age and always wondered what it said. The back stamp is: Samuel Bros Ltd, London, so obviously British made – Shanghai, Hong Kong or Singapore maybe? Zob. |

Well from what i have researched on both Chinese and English sources, Shanghai is the likeliest possibility since “Shanghai Tramways” was founded in 1906 by the British.
From my recollection, the previous names of the Hong Kong Tramways (HKT) doesnt have an “S”. |
