Can anyone place/identify - who, when and where - these titles please?

ooh I love posts like these ,

ok complete guesses .
1 , dont know but seen it before Think its 1960s Civil Defence.
2, University Public Schools council /committee again complete guess.
3, Control Commision at least the correct colours ,obvious guess is `Public Relations` but was that an actual known phrase back then ?
4, SURREY chopped down pagri flash as in ` 5 / Surrey ?
5, telecoms looks to me war time manufacture for sure.
6 under officer first thoughts is Australian ? as they love those two tear titles ?

But presumably the Aussies would know it's 'InstructOr' and not 'InstructUr' as per the badge?

I think the Uganda Police Special Constabulary wore a similar title to your U.P.S.C. in the late 1940s early 1950s. There is a picture of this in one of the early 1950s/60s MHS journals, which unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to lay my hands on at the moment. Perhaps, somebody else has a copy?

Default Mobile Squad

Hi Jon, I think the Ulster Defence Regiment females (Greenfinches) wore green on red rank badges but mobile squad.....plausible maybe? regards John
