Default IAOC White Metal Button

I have a 23mm button from the Indian Army Ordnance Corps that looks as if it is White Metal. The makers name on the reverse seems to be, it's not very clear, "MADE IN BHAM ENGLAND".
Is it what I believe it to be or something else?

Tried for a photo but no luck, I have tried using chalk, silver polish. pencil lead and baby powder. Still no luck for a picture BUT makes me more convinced that the back make does say "MADE IN BHAM ENGLAND" The makers mark is not one I've come across before and hoped another member had.
