Default White metal

Hi all, does anyone know what the name is of the sheet material that white metal badges are stamped out of. It going to had nickel in it , but what’s the proper name. I guess it’s easy to buy, as there’s a lot of white metal reproduction badges.
Thanks andrew

Default White metal

I believe it has been described as "German Silver" also as nickel.

German Silver was increasingly called White Metal from around 1906 and the two terms were interchangeable for a while. It was defined as 64.5% Copper, 16.5% Zinc and 19.0% Nickel – TNA / RACD Pattern 4481/1897, WO 359/6,336
