Could anybody confirm that the c c f army section is badges to the Royal Lancers at present

They were badged to the Queens Royal Lancers, David. But that was prior to the QRL being amalgamated.
Images on their FB page show them still wearing the Motto in 2018.

Mike many thanks I had seen the image with the Q R L being worn But was wondering post amalgamation [2015 ] if Lancer badge was still worn i.e old motto or new badge

They were badged to somebody else,completely unrelated prior to that.
What i dont get is that being QRL they should have worn the red backing,yet they dont.

Mike thanks again -next time that I collect the children ,i 'll see if anybody can help with badges I would have expected to be badged to the Rifles as many A C F/C C F in the West country are

I think it could have been RGJ or LI that they were badged to prior to the QRL. Once the Rifles came into being the association ceased and they went over to the QRL.
