Default Cuff Lace Pattern

Are there any reference publications which cover cuff lace?

Can't quite make out the pattern on the sleeve of this South London VTC officer:

SL VTC.jpg

Would anyone be able to provide a clear image of this pattern, at all please?

With thanks,

Peter.

Hello Peter

Herts V.R. by J. D. Sainsbury has a plate showing the "Badges of Rank" of the VTC.

Could be wrong, but as far as I can make out from you image your chaps rank could be "Platoon Commander & * Half-Squadron commander"

Perfectly clear, Peter. Thanks very much indeed.

Going by your image and Andy's post, I think we can comfortably say that the chap is a Platoon Commander.

Many thanks gents.

Peter.

I should have been a bit clearer

Platoon commander in the VTC

Half Squadron Commander in the National Motor Volunteers
