Default does anyone know what these are ?

Can anyone help with these pins, they came with some small slider clips.I've no idea of their use or even if they are military. size 20mm approx.

Tony,

Don't know if this is the definitive answer, but I have bought many a shoulder title (with the flat, hexagonal-type lugs) with these clips/pins attached.

I have QC RMP collars with this type of fastener, on hexagonal lugs.

The above is the correct answer, however they are used for whatever you want to use them for. I have tried to purchase some of these for the last 2 months and have given up.

They are cotter pins. Try a Goggle search.

They are not particularly hard to find. Whilst most commonly found on buttons, they are very widely used on many wartime Australian badges, including cap and sleeve badges. They are usually found far more frequently on Australian badges than split pins.

Try a hardware store, a place that sells nuts, bolts, nails and such.

Hardware stores sell them, but not in [non-rusting] brass. Have the same issue myself!

And as Marc point out, they're for whatever you want. Mine to put the gilt buttons on a reproduction 1810 British officer's tunic.
