Victorian Irish Officers Cap or Pouch to I.D please
Hi Gents,
Not sure what Irish Regiment or Police this badge belongs to? It's in near mint condition which makes you wonder about it's authenticity, although it does have some reassuring strengthening bars around the crown. Many Thanks in advance. Colin |

London Irish Rifles
It shows some similarities with a LIR pouch badge I have. Apart from where the crown joins the harp. This example is 49mm high, and is silver plated.

Hi Irish Horse,
Mine appears to be 46mm tall and approx 22mm wide. Thanks. Colin |

Just been thinking about this and sometimes we ( I ) perhaps forget that different makers might have produced slightly different examples of what was intended to be the same badge.
