Attachment 213017Dear all, some of my more recent acquisitions that are stubbonly refusing to be identified. Grateful for any ideas .
1. A formation badge with a Queens Crown over what looks like a family or school crest, itself over crossed swords (army?) and what could be an eagle (RAF?). Background blue/green. All the clues are there, but I can't find it.

2 and 3,
2. A piece of very dark green and black tartan with a roman IV embroidered on it. Kings Own Border Regt? Artillery? RTR? What, when and where worn, both theatre and on uniform.
3. A " UK- PST" badge with an all seeing eye ?

4, 5 & 6,
4. A mini Tyne and Tees about an inch square. Modern embroidery.
5. A crest with a double headed eagle in black on yellow, over a three towered castle in grey on red.
6. A white horse on a red shield - Hanover? Looks like it was cut from a t-shirt ( as does 5 above). Both came in big collection of military cloth.

Ian, 7 off the top of my head, something AAC? The white horse looks like something Kent ACF & the TT still used in the North East, from a T-Shirt? Best Regards Mark

Thanks for that, a quick internet search confirms that (and adds yet another CCF shoulder title to my wants list - anybody got a spare?)

Might be worth contacting the school as the TRF may have replaced the shoulder title!

Bump.
Still looking for IDs for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7.
Somebody must know what a bit of tartan with a black roman IV on is or the green/blue DZ?

Default All seeing eye badge

Good evening. The triangular badge with the eye and UK PST is a Police badge given to United Kingdom Police Search Team members who have completed the Intermediate Search Course. It is occasionally worn on search coveralls.
Regards
Taz

I have the same badge with IV on tartan on a desert hat with name and year. But not identified to date.
