Default Military Police "TC" Patch

Finally got one of these after years of searching. Quite a rare little blighter.

Should be adding a printed "VP" shortly.

Anyone have an embroidered "VP" or printed "TC" ?

I have in my collection - VP (Ptd and EonF) and TC (EonF). TC (Ptd) has eluded me for 53 years!

Yep !

Devilishly hard to find. If Mike still hasn't tracked down a printed VP after 50 odd years, I'll be happy with what I've got and not hold my breath waiting for any more .

CMP Vulnerable Points Wing c1945.jpg

Hi Folks - I thought you may like to see this depiction of VP CMP c.1945, by Ernest Ibbetson. Interestingly he has the VP patch in different colours with a red background. The original watercolour is here in the RMP Museum and was donated by the late lamented Gale and Polden.

Regards,

Jeremy

Just added this one to my collection, a couple of questions, were they worn on both sleeves and are they a trade or proficiency badge worn by those who have passed a traffic control course or by all members of traffic control units?

The VP and TC arm badges were in effect regimental flashes and not trade badges. As such they would almost certainly have been worn on both arms.

Images attached.
