Ww1 red sleeve stripe?
Anyone out there know the meaning of this red cloth band on the lower sleeve of a WW1 other ranks tunic?

RAMC Medical Orderleys wore either one for 2nd Class and 2 for 1st class strip of crimson braid on both cuffs as a trade badge, but not that wide.

Early in the war, some units created distinguishing marks for runners and scouts, Mostly I think on an ad hoc basis. Might it be one of those?
Unfortunately, not sure how to check that. |

clearly a late war sleeve, with the wound stripes and looking at the other badges around it highly likely its RAMC so a home made Medical Orderlys trade badge is very likely.
