Peaked cap markings
Hello! I have seen these markings in the sweetband of a cap..I also saw these markings in a WWII cap on another forum (warelic)..this denote the cap is wartime or you can also see in postwar period caps? Thank you!

The markings appear in post war caps too.

Ok!...and what do you think about this one? (Forget the badge...it is clearly added...as you can see it has the marking of two holes for a lugged badge)

Very difficult to say it’s WW2 that colour of material was worn well into the post WW2 period.

The badge looks like an Other Ranks slidered one, incorrect, but it is possible for a cap to have been worn legitimately with different badges, for example when infantry regiment badges were replaced by brigade cap badges during the 1950s - 60's and then reintroduced.
