Liverpool University STC titles- like buses
I have been after a Cloth Liverpool University Senior Training Corps title for many years and then like buses a number come at once.
I managed to buy a 1940 dated battledress blouse with LUSTC titles on each sleeve, interestingly it also has RAMC arm of service stripes on each sleeve and an owners name A.M.Lamb inside. He was presumably a medical student at Liverpool and I wonder if he qualified as a Doctor in due course ? At the same time and unrelated I was able to acquire another single LUSTC cloth title to put in my LUOTC frame. I now have examples of all the items to this unit that I am aware of. One of the joys of our hobby is that it would not come as a complete surprise if an item unknown to me turned up at some time. The Cloth title " LIVERPOOL UNIVERSITY" is, according to Rawlings for Liverpool University, University Training Corps. P.B.
