Default Leeds OTC

Here is a recent acquisition. Leeds OTC. Has a well worn but attractive patina. I really like this motif. Can one assume this is of the WW1 era or did it span between wars also.
Best

As can be seen this badge was in use pre WW1 and is still in use today. K&K show a second badge which they date to sealed in 1950. I lpresume this was a WW2 era UTC era badge before a return to the OTC badge in a/a.

The Yorkshire Officer Training Regiment was formed on 1st September 2011 from Sheffield and Leeds UOTCs.

I have seen Officer Cadets wearing a Bullion Badge as above on their berets, but not seen the Anodised Badge which was being worn in the No1 Dress Cap.

They were certainly wearing berets with a/a in the 1980s and 90s.
