New mbr advice please
G'day one and all, I am new to collecting British cap badges, I am an Aussie and have been slowly collecting Australian WW2 badges and bayonets for several years.
I have a question if someone could answer, in regards to WW1 British cap badges were they afixed by slider or pinned or was it a mixture. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Cheers Phil |

Hello Phil, welcome to the Forum. Your account is active and open for posts.
A quick answer to your question is that most First World War Brit badges had sliders, but some had lugs or pins.

Thanks Bill A and GB64, your info has helped greatly, as a current serving WO2 I tend to go for OR relared items so now knowing that the majority of badges with sliders are OR badges this will help me greatly.
Cheers Phil. |
