Liverpool Institute CCF
Hi all. I post a photo of two items of Liverpool Institute CCF cloth insignia. The green on red cloth shoulder title is self explanatory but the shield shaped badge is unusual to say the least. It did show up in the 'Formation Sign' many years ago but with no explanation as to where it was worn. This is the first time i've had an actual example rather than an illustration. Anyone know if it was indeed worn on uniform? Regards, Andrew.

Andrew,
Very nice I only have the white on red "LICCF" cloth title. The sheild was worn in uniform as an arm badge, a picture of it in wear by a member of the RAF section is attached. I dont suppose you have an example of the last Kings Liverpool cap badge worn by the CCF do you ? P.B. P.S. I dont want an example of the cap badge but I have a theory that it might be the same as the "non seeded" cap badge worn by Liverpool University OTC

Thanks for that PB. Had thought it too large for wear on BD but just goes to show the value of photographic records! Kind regards, Andrew.
