Default TFS Fire Service badge, ID please??

Hi All,

Can anybody ID this badge for me, please? In the style of the NFS officers badges. TFS in place of NFS. I know that there are also GFS badges of the same style for Gibraltar, and, that there are CFS examples for Central Australia.

Thanks in advance,

Phil

Phil,

Possibly, Tasmania Fire Service. Tasmania has a quite recent badge with TFS in the centre using the same format as that which you show.

As an aside, the old style badges which were worn in Gibraltar actually had the letters "CFB" in the centre (not GFS). Their official title was City Fire Brigade. They were maintained by the Gibraltar City Council. In respect of Australia. "CFS" stands for "Country Fire Service".

Dave.

Thank you, Dave, your Tasmania identification has confirmed some other's ideas. Your knowledge and assistance is, as always, much appreciated.
