It looks like a Georgian Regency Shako Officers badge 1816-1822.

I am unsure what the RWL is. Royal ???? Legion.

sorry for the poor pics but i dont have the badge at the moment.
here is the back
im vary happy with the front but the back looks cast and im not sure if its how it would have been or not?
anyway, your comments will be appreciated

It would definately NOT had copper loops like that in the Georgian period.

Usually lead fixed wires or the like.

Not genuine based on that photo.
