Default QARNNS Badge???

I have a lot of items in transit and one of item is this white metal KC crowned anchor badge. I got it because it was identified as a QARNNS (RN Nurse) badge, but is not one I am familiar with. Can anybody confirm that for me and tell me if it is a collar badge or some other badge and when it might have been worn.

As always, thank you for your help,

Terry

Dockyard Police cap badge Terry.... Nothing to do with QARNNS

This was the pattern worn by Seargents
Constables only wore the anchor without crown
Inspectors had a wreath around the anchor and Crown

Thank you gentlemen, I was very suspicious of it, but took a chance in case it might be what it was described as. Maybe I can swap it for something in my areas of collecting???
