Default For Sale LUGGED White Metal Post Office Rifle Cap Badge

On offer is this LUGGED white metal cap badge the Post Office Rifles. Nice dark toned lugs, evidence of pink "soldier's friend") residue to the rear of the badge. Priced at £15 including UK postage.

I agree it’s a fake with some age. Whilst the crown is voided which is a less common attribute amongst those fakes it still has the wonky raised O of Office and other deformed lettering to the scroll plus poorly rendered crown.

Lugs wider apart than usual. I'm not sure I have seen this version with lugs. Regards, Paul.

They are occasionally found with loops affixed on the wreath like below as well as closer in on the cross arms like here.

A few Paul, yes. My badge is the only one I’ve ever found with a Gaunt tablet to date but I’m sure there must be others out there.
