Hi, what are members thoughts on this London Scottish ?

It is a good badge that has been silver plated, which is commonly encountered on these.

Its all good save for the hole through the lions throat. I've never seen any official 'voiding' there before.

Looks like someone drilled a hole there, possibly for mounting purposes....who knows.

I think drilling as a means of voiding has been mentioned in a couple of threads as featuring on some fake or repro badges (not specifically on London Scottish), possibly on those that only have small and no large areas to void.
