Unknown (to me) blanking plate. - British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

This blanking plate came in a job lot and I have not been able to identify it. I am guessing that it may be for an anti aircraft unit.

It may be offered for sale as it is outside my collecting area.

Described as :

"16 [air defence] Regiment, Royal Artillery TRF. "

I have it identified as "No 1 Joint Air Defence Group
2000 - 2019 (variations)" and it can be found in three versions as attached.

Both wrong, it was worn by members of those units in "Joint Ground Based Air Defence".

I just went with descriptions from Crest and also Cadetdirect , I should have waited as I thought you would know the proper title.

[but it WAS worn by 16 air defence, so only a little bit wrong].
