Hi Brian, That is actually the horizon bleu or French gray of 3 Canadian Infantry Division. Not all that common.
2 Canadian Infantry Division wore a royal blue badge, much darker than this one.

Thanks for the info Bill. Can you recommend a good reference on shoulder flashes. Got a bunch more with this lot and Im not sure how to date all the variations on size and backing. Thx Brian
