Default holster camouflaged SAS

hello,
my uncle (who was the 4th SAS in 1944) was this holster.
I thought at first it was for receiving the silk escape map (map that I have also) but I've seen on other forums in France that it was not the right model.
Do you know what this case was intended?
It measures 20.5 cm x 11.5 cm
Inside, it looks like it is rubberized.
thank you
Sincerely
Claude

No idea, but it may well have been personalised or made by him for purpose.
Cheers,
Alex

This was not intended as a holster. It was a document or map water resistant bag.

That's what I thought, a map or dispatch case.

Good evening gentlemen,
my translation(holster) for this case is perhaps not good.
I have his escape map Holland silk. She comes right in folded as it is. But I saw that the cases of the maps were marked map.
thank you very much waiting for your opinion.
Sincerely
Claude
