holster camouflaged SAS
hello,
my uncle (who was the 4th SAS in 1944) was this holster. I thought at first it was for receiving the silk escape map (map that I have also) but I've seen on other forums in France that it was not the right model. Do you know what this case was intended? It measures 20.5 cm x 11.5 cm Inside, it looks like it is rubberized. thank you Sincerely Claude

No idea, but it may well have been personalised or made by him for purpose.

This was not intended as a holster. It was a document or map water resistant bag.

That's what I thought, a map or dispatch case.

Good evening gentlemen,
my translation(holster) for this case is perhaps not good. I have his escape map Holland silk. She comes right in folded as it is. But I saw that the cases of the maps were marked map. thank you very much waiting for your opinion. Sincerely Claude
