KRRC Good or Bad Please
I acquired this badge with the red backing a couple of years ago, and I believe it to be a good one, but have no idea of when it was worn. There is one place on the lower arm where there is a blob of the black paint. It looks to be original with the rest of the black paint, just an area where it blobbed. I don't know if that is the original black paint or something added later. It is not a flat finish, and seems to be the only layer of black paint.
Wanting to confirm it is good, and if not please help me learn by advising why. As always, sincere thanks, Terry |

I think that is likely a good badge underneath all of that paint, which is not original to the badge. That said, it is not impossible that the paint job was done by a period serving soldier to spruce up a worn badge. The backing looks good and has proper age to it. It is probably worth more than the badge itself in it's present condition.

Thanks CB. Appreciate your thoughts. I liked when I first saw it, but decided to pass on it. At another show 2 weeks later he same dealer was here and this time it came home with me.
