Default Pegasus patches - old reproductions?

A couple of suspected old reproduction pegasus patches I have. Just wanted a definitive expert opinion on these. They look very similar to modern repros, but they are old enough to have a lot of wear and mothing, so I'm not 100%.

Default Pegasus Formation Badge

Hello Burton,
You may want to glance at the following article which I've written in my blog, for guidance; https://arnhemjim.blogspot.com/p/british-militaria.html . If you scroll down the article a ways you will find the discussion regarding the Airborne Formation Badge. Hope to have been assistance.

Thanks, I've used your articles frequently over the years to identify legitimate badges. For these I was hoping for some history of the repro. If, as Frank says, they could be 40 years old, that explains the wear and mothing!
Cheers,
Burton

You could buy those with ease for a couple of quid four decades ago, but, no real difference than buying them tomorrow, except the price being sought, depending upon the seller's integrity.

Thanks! That's the information I was after. 40 year old repros would explain it.
