Default SAS vets wing

Hi all
wondering if anyone has the association wing in their collection, produced for the vets, very small wing but highly collectable, this is the 3rd one ive had over the years, will probably let this one go also??
Posting really to show the size comparison incase no one has seen one before.
cheers
Brian

Default Mini SAS wings.

Brian, I have one in my collection, which came from the curator of the museum in B block Duke of Yorks (when such a thing existed). He said they were produced for wear over miniatures in mess/formal dress (the very early wings on chest award from the desert?). His other set was the only other set I've ever seen.

Default wing

Thanks Ian
Guessing its the same wing, I was told a while back that they were made for the association for wear by vets etc, so what you have said makes sense mate.
cheers

Default Small wing

The wing was issued to veterans attending the 50th Anniversary celebrations at Hereford.

Best regards,

Andy
