Default DISPATCH RIDERS BADGE ON GREEN?

This Dispatch Riders badge appears to be on a green backing. Others I have seen have all been on a khaki backing. Is there any significance or am I seeing something that is not there!

Any help or ideas, greatly appreciated.

Kind regards, Malcolm.

Malcolm,

I have had them in various colours including dark blue. See Roys Album.

The lighter coloured backgrounds are usually associated with South Africa but in the case of yours I dont think its one of those.

Its probably as you say, just a makers variation.

regards

Hi Malcolm,

Yes what Simon said.

Nice example, one I don't think I have (will have to check) so if you ever part with it drop me a line.

Cheers,

Roy
