Default Task Force Nomad

Hi all
I'm really struggling with this one, thought it might be something to do with KFOR MNB-East where there are Greeks with an Armenian rifle platoon under command.
Maybe it's something to do with Afghanistan, the colours would be right, there is a US Marine unit in Helmand that call themselves TF Nomad but cant imagine there would be any Greeks or Armenians there.

Does anyone have any information especially amongst you well travelled lot!!
Regards
Sean

The way it's constructed reminds me of the souvenir/ PX patches manufactured locally in Afghanistan. I received several of these from a friend of mine serving there and I will check if I have anything on TF Nomad. As I recall patches like these were not constructed in this way in the Kosovo mission.

Not sure if you are able to compare your patch with these 503rd Rgt patches pictured, but these are some examples of locally made Afghan patches and in construction they reminds me of the one you have.

Yes I'm leaning towards locally made in Afghanistan, my only problem is the Armenians were partnered with the Germans I think not the Greeks or Americans hence why I'm struggling.
