Can someone help me please ? David for instance ??

Either by offering suggestions or even curing my latest IT problem ??

For the last couple of days, I have been unable to open my e-mails on my desk top PC ?? every time I try, I get a pop up box appear with an Alert !!

The message reads :-

Alert.

" The RETR command did not work. Error retrieving message. Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded : problem retrieving message. "

I have ' googled ' the problem trying to find forums that discuss this situation but when I find one, I haven't a clue of what they are talking about ??

I have spoken to one ' family ' expert but he concentrates on Apple and not Microsoft, he did tell me to check my iPad and having done so, my messages are being delivered to it.

In short HELP !!
