Great Despatch Rider Insignia Photo
Hi Gents,
I wanted to share this recent find with you. A nice Great War portrait of a member of the Army Service Corps, clear images of the cap badge and shoulder titles. The import detail is the rare/early Despatch Rider arm badge. I have one other photo of this patch but this is such a nice clear image I thought it worthy of sharing. The back of the postcard by the way reads 'With love to my own sweetheart, Arthur'. So a thank you to Arthur. I'm still on the hunt for one of these early DR patches, so if folks can keep a look out for me, I would be most grateful. Cheerio, Roy

Yes I was really pleased when this arrived. I was clearly after the DR image but was surprised at how clear all the other insignia was too, especially the MT/ASC. A nice find. Cheerio, Roy
