The slidered badge might be an early pugaree (pagri) badge.

Yes, it does look a bit different but there is nice golden braze and no evidence of lugs, so may just be a variation. Cheers, Alex |

I would agree with alan about the length and form of the slider for a pagri doesn't look right but alex is right the way it is fixed and the look of the badge is good except it should not be on a slider and any faker good enough to make it should know that |

I agree with Alan.
Alex - golden braze does not a good badge make I’m afraid. Not a factor I would rely upon in itself. As Alan alludes the shape of the slider here is more diagnostic. The badge is I believe fake, from the MM die. The thistles look like school bells with their ends having a distinct rim/border.
