Unknown cap badge
I bought a book of biographies of WW1 casualties of a Chester Church from a charity shop this morning.
Still trying to work out what cap badge Peter Gerrighty is wearing , looks like General list but bigger. P.

General List
I think it’s the larger General List badge which is approx (h) 50mm x 48mm (w).

Thanks Luke and Tim,
That was my first thought but does seem to be more projecting bits on the badge on the cap but may well just be an illusion caused by a poor photo. P.

I was describing the badge so probably should’ve said large ‘Royal Arms’ to be more accurate.

The Royal Arms badge was used by a variety of units including the Labour Corps, the Training Reserve and the Volunteer Force (ex-VTC) battalions.
