Default A Black Watch badge for review

Hello,
i am looking for the Highland Cyclist Battalion, a much copied badge. What do think about this one ?

I agree that the badge shown is not good either. I have never acquired one of these as I just don't seem to see any that I would be comfortable with.

Look for one like this and you won’t go wrong. The loops are distinctive in that the wire has been drawn out to make a long but thin foot which almost looks like a flat extension of the loop. Importantly the foot is no wider than the wires gauge.

They are not common and dealers will charge comfortably +£100 for such an example.

That's the TF badge not the cyclists. There are 2 genuine ones in my albums.

Found with both Lacessit and Lacesset wording. It took me a while to find a Lacesset version I was comfortable with (perhaps there are more fakes with this wording) and I eventually resorted to Bosleys auction.

I thought I had a photograph of it, but I have only two Lacessit's saved on my computer. The bi-metal was found caked in dirt in the bottom of an auction lot of buttons and bits & pieces several years ago.
