The men are wearing the colour patch of their regiment and a Drivers Proficiency Badge beneath. Identified, left to right: SX23522 Craftsman Leslie Hubert Golder; SX23515 Craftsman Ernest Herbert Tschirpig; and SX23510 Craftsman Reginald Bruce Rogers.

Hi Mick, great pic. What is the badge on the beret, a collar? or the old tank badge collar? also how common was it to wear the driving badge? Mike

The beret badge looks like a Rising Sun collar badge (many of the armoured units wore collar badges on their berets during WW2).
This is actually the first pic I have seen of the Drivers Proficiency Badge being worn. These guys are also Craftsmen so I guess they would be attached to the RAEME/Tech Support Squadron of the regiment. Mick
