Hi everybody!
Hope you are all doing okay? Enjoying the summer holidays? I was hoping you guys could help me with these Northamptonshire titles? Are they WW2 or Post war? Any opinion and or comment is truly appreciated! Thank you so much. Have a great day! Sincerely, Frank [IMG_6969.jpg] [IMG_6970.jpg] |

Also has had the lettering painstakingly ‘blancoed’!

The letters of the title individually whitened with a paste similar to that used on canvas shoes in order to make the title of the regiment stand out and look especially smart.

Expand the picture and see that every letter has been painted with paint or something like liquid whitener, aka blanco, usually used on white web belts and plimsolls (dabs).
Sometimes also seen on NCO stripes and some trade and proficiency badges. Tim
