Default Argyll & Sutherland badge

My latest rookie question. Has the large Argylls badge always been of the same basic design, ie. no basic changes King's crown, Queen's crown, etc.?

Hi, Yes, the badge design has virtually remained the same. It's actually the Princess Louise's coronet on the badge.
Cheers, Tinto

The earlier badges c.1900s were non voided (pierced), they were produced in plastic during WW2 and anodised aluminum post 1950s, but never struck in brass, these are fake!
