17/21st lancer cap bage and collar
here are two superb badge i have had for a while.Both are original.Is the collar badge rare?I havent come across many.tommy t bag

A "Firmin" Cap Motto & collar..... not rare. The flat spot in the right eye and the rounder hip ends is indicative of a "good" later type in the cap motto.
Below is an earlier "good" type:-

Re Mottos
G'day Tommy
The collar motto looks to be one of the early flat types, later ones are more rounded in the skull, this one has N S lugs where as most of the later ones have E W lugs. This type of collar comes in white metal and gilding metal. Regards Phil.

I bought the collar badge on e bay thinking it was a full size cap badge.when i opened the packet i though it was rather light!But,was still pleased with it.Cheers for replying.tommy t bag
