Default FS

Possibly worn by Wilts Regt during WW2, but may have been used before that. I'm sure Mike will provide full details.

The photo isn't mine & I cannot recall its origin- apologies if I've upset anyone by using it.

Stephen.

Waring shows it as the Wiltshire Regiment.

And he's correct! According to Lt Col Howard Cole ("Badges on Battledress") first worn on pugarees or topees when in India prior to 1939 and worn throughout WW2 and afterwards until BD was phased out. The flash should be 1.25 inches in width. Mike
